A fake teenage doctor was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison for Illegally practicing Medicine and scamming people.

20-year-old Malachi Love-Robinson from Florida who was arrested almost two years ago for impersonating a doctor pleaded guilty to several fraud charges, grand theft and practicing medicine without a license.

At the hearing which held at West Palm Beach last Thursday, At he was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison and given credit for time served. He was also ordered to pay restitution.

According to the court record, Love-Robinson, who referred to himself as Dr. Love, was 19 years old when he was arrested in 2016 after deputies say he was practicing medicine without a license and stole more than $35,000 from a patient. Authorities said Love-Robinson stole thousands of dollars from an 86-year-old woman during a series of visits to her home while he was a teenager.

The Palm Beach Post reported that the West Palm Beach teen who was caught impersonating a doctor back in 2016 accepted a plea deal on Thursday that included more than three years behind bars. ???????

He first made headlines after an undercover investigation unveiled his fraudulent business practices. Love had been illegally practicing medicine but was booked after giving medical advice and a physical to an undercover cop. ???????

According to the report, the undercover officer was among several “patients” who received fraudulent advice from Dr. Love. He was also accused of defrauding an elderly woman out of $35,000 in a separate incident, buying himself a car through a business account and scamming a car dealership using fake information.??????

The teenage fake doctor pleaded guilty to grand theft, practicing medicine without a license and more. After agreeing to a plea deal, Love-Robinson was sentenced to 42 months in prison with credit for time served. In addition to the credit, several charges were dropped as part of the plea deal, however, he will still have to pay several hundred dollars in court costs once he is released from jail.

"What he was trying to do, he was trying to do for the better good and not harm anybody," Love-Robinson's grandmother, Rebecca McKenzie said after court Thursday, according to WPTV.

"He was always trying to help people," grandfather William McKenzie said. "He just made some wrong choices."
